getting away

At long last, I'm flying away from the coop tomorrow.  I'll brave the snow and cold weather and head over to the coast for two nights of solitude.

The feelings about this are mixed up, of course.  I dread being away.  As I told D, I don't want to be away from him and E.  I just need to be away for me.

It's been more than a year since I've had a break like this.
