I was glad that D left a couple of comments on my last post to give real details about what was involved in creating the berm.

In this photo here, D is advising his friend on the finer points of tractor working.  Thank goodness D didn't notice my jaw dropping down to the floor when he said he was going to buy a tractor.  That thing has saved us so much money!

Here's just a picture of the berm when it was naked.

I had more pictures and text in this post when I originally tried to post it late last week, but the Internet ate it, and -- well -- it doesn't really matter.  It's just dirt.
