E's fourth birthday + being parent helper at her school (12 three- and four-year olds!) + my dad in the hospital again + worry for my mother + wolf-sized coyote living down by the creek for the last two days (our dog befriended it somehow) + birthday cake meltdowns = cathy is toast.
