getting a new mom-scout patch...

E has chicken pox (!), and that means I get to put another patch on my mom-sash.

She had the vaccine so hopefully her case will be mild.    When D called me into the bathroom this morning to look at her belly, I couldn't help myself from laughing.  Why are chicken pox kinda funny?  Is it the relief in knowing that the time has come for them, and then they'll be over soon?  I'm happy that they've come so early in her life.

This changes the week ahead, but oh well...

wow! I hope she's not too uncomfortable. I wish my kids had them already...they have the vax too though.
