Today I made 14 quarts of regular dill pickles, using D's aunt's recipe. I also filled the Harsch crock with my first batch of fermented pickles (Sandor Katz's recipe, I really like his book).
I also kept working on that pile of compost. Parts of the yard are looking much nicer now.
My feet hurt. I've been going since 6:15 this morning.
