- roasted sweet potatoes with a balsamic-maple glaze

Dessert
- pumpkin pie (mother in law is bringing)
- fudge (mom is bringing)
- fresh pears, dates, dried nectarines, almonds, cheese
oh man that sounds marvelous....I gotta say your appetizers sound perfect too. I sort of fell behind and am madly changing plans for too complicated desserts and the like. It's just us and my brother in law----I'm so glad he's coming----makes it seem like more of a holiday.
Don't you wish we lived closer? The happiest of Thanksgivings to you my friend....

Ohh... I want to eat at your house! :-) But, I'll be listening to my husband's 95 year old grandpa complain instead.
