I haven't been sitting around spinning my belly button lint. We've been busy while we wait for the sun to show up.
My daughter now reads comic books in bed:
She also talks nonstop from sunrise to sunset. It's wonderful, creative, and it's making me a little crazy. I can't believe that she soon will be in school from 8-something-am until prettymuch-3pm every single week day for the next 13 years.
I pray that the universe and the economy work with me so that I can make good progress for our family while she is busy at school. I continue to explore how to certify our domestic kitchen so that I can make and sell pickles and preserves. Aside from the catastrophic weather-related problems most farmers are experiencing in our region right now, Curious Farm is making quite a bit of progress all around. Crops might not be growing properly, but we are working through a massive heap of kinks that aren't related to the weather. So maybe this spooky weather is a big, weird blessing?
