My mom got E a children's sewing machine for Christmas. We used it for the first time today, and she created this. She did all of the design, all of the sewing, most of the fabric aligning (after much discussion each time about right and wrong sides and about speed bumps/extra layers of fabric), some of the cutting, most of the guiding of the fabric, all of the putting fabric in and pulling it out of the machine. I did the ironing, needle-threading, and straightening of the edges.
Can you believe it?
Forgive me for indulging my fantasy of making quilts with my daughter someday... or at least of making them side-by-side.
That is awesome! Well done, and I see many more sewing projects in little E's future!
